My commitment to Yoga and wellness is a daily practice, which has developed over many years. My interest in the body and movement began during my youth, when I trained as a gymnast and eventually became a coach. As many of us do, I encountered an extremely challenging period in my life that span over 5 years. As I grew older I sought more understanding of myself and the world we live in. My desire to self heal guided me towards Yoga Philosophy, where I received the true gifts Yoga has to offer. As time went by and subtle changes were implemented I began to observe profound developments in my life. To my delight the momentum has continued that way. My gratitude and enthusiasm lead me to teacher training and In 2009 I qualified from the Shakti Spirit school in Bali. I then spent a short period teaching at Balance Yoga. Before taking my skills south to Costa Rica and eventually back home to London, where I taught mainly 1 on 1 in Yoga and Pilates. Tailoring a practice specifically for the individuals needs.
It's essential to find freedom in the physical body. I have explored this in many disciplines over time. The creative movement of Dance is a current consistent in my life since I could walk! I've been inspired by many forms of dance and specifically the acrobatics of pole dance. I have gained eminence strength and confidence in my body through this art form. During my time in London I qualified as a Pole Fitness Instructor and also achieved my advanced personal training certificate which gave me a deep understanding of Anatomy and Physiology.
Prior to this I have completed qualifications in Choreographed fitness, Gym Instruction and advanced Pilates. I have also taken an interest in Thai Yoga Massage, which I find compliments my classes, as I can offer clear instruction and confident adjustments.
My hope is to lead each student to a full heart and open body!
